Job Summary of HBC Sales Associate:

Weis Markets plays a vital role in ensuring the freshness and availability of quality merchandise. The individual will be responsible for rotating stock, unloading shipments, and maintaining organized display areas. The role also involves moving excess product to backroom storage areas and supporting efficient store operations to maximize customer satisfaction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of HBC Sales Associate:

• Ensure proper stock rotation and product handling procedures to maintain product freshness.
• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and condition.
• Unpack and organize boxes of merchandise for display and restocking.
• Replenish and maintain sales floor merchandise, ensuring adequate stock levels for customer needs.
• Move excess merchandise to the backroom storage area following Weis Markets guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, following safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience of HBC Sales Associate:

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow inventory management procedures.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as required.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on quality and customer service.
