Your Work as a Material Handler:

• Perform the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of raw materials, finished goods, and other items within the facility.
• Ensure accurate identification, labeling, and record-keeping of all materials handled.
• Operate various material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and effectively, as required and certified.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and Cargill's best practices to ensure a secure working environment.
• Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and efficient flow.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper handling and organization of materials.
• Prepare and stage materials for production or shipment according to established procedures.
• Conduct routine checks on material handling equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Participate in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient material storage and handling environment.
• Support other operational needs related to material flow as required.

Material Handling Development:

While not a formal rotation program, Cargill provides opportunities for Material Handlers to develop their skills and knowledge within the supply chain. This can include cross-training in different areas of material handling, learning new equipment operation, and understanding the broader logistics process. We encourage continuous learning and growth within our operations.

Compensation

Required Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in [Country - e.g., the U.S.] without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in material handling or a related field
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in a physically active role
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate material handling

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment
• Familiarity with basic inventory management principles
• Experience using scanning devices or inventory tracking systems
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
