Service Leader
Job Summary of Service Leader:
This position involves learning and executing the daily operations of a retail location, supporting store leadership, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. It includes hands-on training with experienced leaders to gain knowledge in staffing, inventory, food safety, merchandising, and customer service. The individual will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked environment, while developing skills for future leadership opportunities within the organization.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Service Leader:
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests in a friendly manner.
- Support the functioning of the store by familiarizing yourself with and helping with scheduling, coaching, and training team members.
- Supervise merchandise inventory, ensuring stock is replenished to maintain optimal levels and orderly shelf positioning.
- Uphold rules related to food safety, quality control, and merchandising norms in dining areas.
- Maintain the store’s hygienic standards by regularly cleaning and disinfecting the coffee stations, food areas, and restroom locations.
- Skillfully handle the cash register responsibilities and contribute to financial tasks when necessary.
- Provide aid in arranging events and meetings, and help with ensuring the store is prepared for weekends and holidays.
- Transport yourself as required to provide assistance to nearby store branches or to deliver cash deposits.
- Adhere to tasks provided by store management or the supervisory team.
Qualifications and Experience of Service Leader:
- The position necessitates a high school diploma or GED.
- Candidates must demonstrate one year of experience in retail, food service, or guest service.
- It is advantageous for candidates to have experience in leadership roles within a similar environment.
- While having ServSafe or food safety certification is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.
- Adept at communicating with visitors and team members in a quick-paced scenario.
- Expressing powerful dynamism, adaptability, and a preparedness to accommodate the team’s necessities.
- Possessing basic computer skills can be beneficial.
