Job Summary of Lead Receiver:

This position is responsible for overseeing the receiving process of all incoming products to ensure quality control, accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards. This role also manages storage practices, documentation, and coordination with receiving supervisors to maintain operational efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Lead Receiver:

• Oversee all incoming product deliveries to verify quality, temperature control, and order accuracy.
• Inspect and document product condition upon arrival according to company and regulatory standards.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all products in alignment with HACCP protocols.
• Manage invoices and packing slips and ensure timely processing by office personnel.
• Implement and maintain effective food rotation practices to prevent spoilage and waste.
• Notify the Receiving Supervisor of any products approaching expiration or quality concerns.

Qualifications and Experience of Lead Receiver:

• Previous experience in a receiving or inventory control role, preferably in a food service or retail environment.
• Familiarity with HACCP protocols and temperature-controlled storage requirements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret invoices, packing slips, and related documentation accurately.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
