Customer Service Manager
Job Summary of Customer Service Manager:
This position involves learning and executing the daily operations of a retail location, supporting store leadership, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. It includes hands-on training with experienced leaders to gain knowledge in staffing, inventory, food safety, merchandising, and customer service. The individual will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked environment, while developing skills for future leadership opportunities within the organization.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Customer Service Manager:
- Create a friendly ambiance by welcoming guests with warmth.
- Aid in facilitating store operations by learning and assisting with planning, mentoring, and educating team members.
- Manage stock levels and replenish goods to sustain proper inventory amounts and organized shelf layouts.
- Practice measures to ensure food safety, quality assessment, and promotional standards in food service venues.
- Uphold the store’s cleanliness by ensuring that the coffee stations, food zones, and restrooms are consistently kept clean and well-presented.
- Competently process transactions through the cash register and aid with financial procedures where appropriate.
- Assist in event and meeting setup, while also contributing to maintaining store readiness over weekends and holidays.
- Journey as needed to assist nearby stores or to facilitate the transportation of deposits.
- Carry out assigned tasks under the direction of store leadership or supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience of Customer Service Manager:
- The job posting specifies a requirement for a high school diploma or GED.
- Retail, food service, or guest service experience of one year is a must for this role.
- Candidates with a history of leadership in a related context are favored.
- While recommended, ServSafe or food safety certification is not a compulsory qualification.
- Competent in engaging with patrons and colleagues in a vibrant workplace.
