Job Summary of Petrochemical Driver:
Fulfill the responsibilities of transporting processed products from storage terminals to retail locations, wholesale depots, and business customers while upholding the standards set forth by the organization, DOT regulations, and safety policies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Petrochemical Driver:
- Load fuel at external terminals with safety measures for customers.
- Follow assigned itineraries to supply fuel to company store premises along specified transportation routes.
- Confirm that the delivered merchandise matches the accurate store site.
- Obey the regulations and guidelines established by both the company and the Department of Transportation for the safe transfer of hazardous substances.
- Uphold the safety of all road users by adhering to driving laws at both federal and state levels.
- Record daily service hour data to remain compliant with DOT regulations.
- Review and promptly escalate any mechanical or equipment complications.
- Maintain a spotless and presentable look by keeping your appearance and vehicle’s interior/exterior tidy.
- Take on additional duties as specified by superiors.
Qualifications and Experience of Petrochemical Driver:
- - The essential qualification is a high school diploma or its comparable substitute.
- The job necessitates a minimum of three years of experience driving trucks with trailers.
- Yearned: Three years of expertise navigating petroleum delivery vehicles.
- Certified commercial driver with a Class A CDL and specialized endorsements for Hazardous Materials and Tank vehicles, holding a TWIC authorization.
- Maintaining an impeccable driving record and meeting the requirements of the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Having the capability to successfully navigate and fulfill the requirements of the DOT physical assessment.
