Account Manager

Job Summary:

In this role, you will work directly with senior leaders to develop and execute category strategies, manage performance, and drive growth initiatives. You will oversee a team of Strategic Account Managers, helping them to build and grow their accounts through strategic plaing, performance analysis, exclusive deals, and new product launches. Your leadership will be critical to the success of the Marketplace, as you will be responsible for delivering both immediate and long-term business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Category Strategy: Lead the development of assortment strategies for specific categories, ensuring the quality of offerings and optimizing product mix.
• Business Performance Management: Conduct in-depth analysis on category performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage P&L, driving growth in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and contribution profit.
• Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and partners across the organization to address pain points, solve problems, and execute growth initiatives.
• Guide Direct Reports: Lead and mentor a team of Strategic Account Managers to deliver growth by improving product offerings, optimizing search visibility, and driving strategic marketing plans.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across various functions, including Omni Merchants, Product Management, Strategy, Operations, and Marketing to enhance the customer and seller experience.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop your team to enhance their skills, provide leadership guidance, and build a high-performing, collaborative culture.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Business Management, Omni-Chael Category Merchandising, Account Management, or digital commerce. E-commerce experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with a proven track record of relationship building.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven with a sense of urgency to deliver business goals.
• Proven leadership ability, with experience managing and developing a team.

Salary:

• The aual salary range for this position is $108,000 - $216,000. This may vary based on location and experience.
