Principal Accountabilities:

• Take direct responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of packaging, filling, and palletizing machinery on a daily basis.
• Implement necessary adjustments and modifications to production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide frequent assistance and support to other equipment operators as needed.
• Operate mobile industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials and replenish production supplies like corrugate, stretch wrap, and caps.
• Accurately manage inventory and transactions within the plant's warehouse management system, including SAP.
• Perform routine operator care and preventative maintenance on production line equipment.
• Actively participate in training programs, effectively communicate needs, and follow up on requirements for production line success.
• Ensure completion of all daily tasks and maintain the plant in an audit-ready state at all times.
• Strictly adhere to all established safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Undertake other related duties as assigned to support plant operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted right to work in the United States (not based solely on a student visa or third-party employer sponsorship).
• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in a Cargill production facility.
• Proficient in understanding and communicating in English (both verbally and in writing).
• Basic proficiency in computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform physical job duties safely, with or without reasonable accommodation, including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
• Ability to work in diverse indoor and outdoor environments, potentially including exposure to heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, while utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work at elevated heights (4 feet and above).
• Must possess the ability to operate machinery and/or various industrial equipment.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, and different shifts, with prior notification.
• Minimum of 6 months of practical experience in a production-related role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating forklifts.
• Familiarity with SAP and automated plant control systems.
• Possession of a high school diploma/GED or a minimum of one year of equivalent work experience.
