Job Summary of Construction Budget Planner:
The Specialist position at Cumberland Farms encompasses overseeing financial activities regarding entitlements and construction projects, including tasks such as budget oversight, invoice processing, and post-audit evaluations. One of the primary duties of this role is to ensure accurate coding in platforms like eBuilder and Oracle Fusion, as well as providing financial aid to the Construction Warehouse team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Construction Budget Planner:
- Analyze and process invoices, requests for checks, and amendments to financial plans.
- Supervise the bond and escrow processes, including requests, authorizations, and reimbursements.
- Act on behalf of another entity to secure needed items or services.
- Back the Construction Warehouse team with financial support for tasks such as purchase order management, expense claim processing, and inventory verification.
- Produce financial documentation for analysts, directors, and VPs, incorporating accrual information for analysis.
- Engage in reclassification procedures and financial research inquiries.
Qualifications and Experience of Construction Budget Planner:
- An associate’s degree in accounting, business, or an associated field is a prerequisite, though a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required, while candidates with over 5 years of experience are highly desired.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is crucial; proficiency in Smartsheet is an additional benefit.
- The utilization of eBuilder and Oracle Fusion has played a key role in enhancing my proficiency in online financial platforms.
- Exhibits proficiency in analytical prowess, communication, and interpersonal competencies.
