Job Summary of Senior Solutions Architect:

This position is responsible for driving enterprise and solutions architecture strategy across multiple IT domains. The role requires a technically proficient individual who can influence cross-functional delivery teams to implement scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for systems including websites, SAP, order management, and back-office applications. In addition to architectural oversight, the role may involve mentoring and guiding a small team of architects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Solutions Architect:

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and long-term strategies.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance to internal teams and external contractors to ensure delivery alignment.
• Mentor architects and other team members, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Identify and address technical debt with strategic mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with established architectural standards and industry best practices.
• Establish and lead architecture review processes to evaluate and enhance solution designs.
• Implement and evolve a business capability model, mapping existing systems and planning future state architectures.

Qualifications and Experience of Senior Solutions Architect:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise and solutions architecture.
• Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring technical teams.
• In-depth understanding of retail business systems and cloud-native architecture models.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and teams without direct reporting lines.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Salary:

• Competitive compensation starting at $175,000 plus performance-based bonus.
