Job Duties and Responsibilities of Telemetry Registered Nurse:

• In order to be an effective operator, one must be able to sort through large amounts of data to discern what is relevant and what is not.
• Continuously monitor the patient's vital signs and respond quickly and competently as appropriate.
• Follow the physician's orders for administering medications and treatments.
• Educating patients on their conditions can help prevent emergency room visits and hospitalizations related to untreated or poorly managed symptoms.
• Foster a collaborative relationship with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Travel Requirements of Telemetry Registered Nurse:

• Those residing within 60 miles of the facility will not be able to take advantage of the travel rate, whereas those living further away may be eligible.

Qualifications and Experience of Telemetry Registered Nurse:

• 2 years spent in a department that utilizes advanced technology to monitor and transmit vital signs of patients in real-time.
• BLS certification required.
• Both national and state certifications are necessary in order to fulfill the requirements.
