Interior Project Designer

About the Role

KFC is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Interior Project Designer to join our Design & Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing innovative interior designs for our restaurant spaces, from concept through completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external consultants, and vendors to ensure each project reflects the KFC brand while meeting functionality, cost, and time goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of interior design concepts and oversee design documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, brand guidelines, and project specifications.
• Prepare presentations, design boards, and construction documentation packages.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and maintain design integrity.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial interior design, preferably in retail or hospitality.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp preferred).
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Ability to balance creativity with practical construction knowledge.
