Job Summary of Retail Team Lead:

This role involves supporting store leadership in executing operational tasks, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and driving sales. The position requires an individual with strong leadership capabilities who can oversee store operations, support team members, and maintain company policies and procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Team Lead:

• Execute the obligations of the on-duty manager during designated times, addressing customer service issues, vendor interactions, and maintenance concerns proficiently.
• Communicate your feedback on team members’ performance to them and relay this information to management.
• Display and personify customer service and sales norms to construct a favorable shopping journey.
• Keep yourself knowledgeable about the company’s regulations, product lineup, and store tactics.
• Outline daily shift aspirations and ensure that associates are aware of key focuses.
• Develop customer loyalty through engagement strategies and gather their contact information for future outreach.
• Complete tasks related to beginning and ending the operational day of the store, which includes activities like depositing cash in the bank and accepting deliveries.
• Sustain high operational standards by adhering to the company’s policies and procedures without deviation.
• Collaborate on merchandising initiatives, developing visual presentations, and arranging signage placements when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Team Lead:

• Previous familiarity with retail sales and a goal to transition into a leadership position.
• Ability to encourage a sales environment that revolves around customer care.
• Illustrated achievement in sales functions and efficient handling of store operations.
• Willing to be flexible with working hours, including weekends and peak shifts.
• Competent coaching and mentoring aptitude for sudden team support.
• Preference is given to individuals who have obtained a high school diploma or GED.
