Bakery Lead

Job Summary:

Drive sales and oversee daily operations within the bakery department. Supervise a team of associates to ensure quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Work collaboratively with other departments to meet overall business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide the bakery team to achieve department goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of product specifications, backroom operations, and seasonal offerings.
• Train team members on new products, recipes, and operational best practices.
• Utilize digital tools to track sales, inventory, and production needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure proper staffing to meet weekly production demands.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock management.
• Foster professional development and growth opportunities for team members.
• Analyze performance data and implement process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Six months of experience in a bakery production department or in a supervisory role.
• Completion of job-required training and assessments.
• Experience in bakery production, including decorating.
• Supervisory experience in a food-related environment.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).

Salary:

Hourly wage range: $23.00 - $31.00, with additional premium pay based on schedule and work conditions.
