Job Summary of Construction Estimator:
At Cumberland Farms, the Specialist is entrusted with supervising financial tasks related to entitlements and construction projects, which involves managing budgets, processing invoices, and conducting post-audit reviews. The key responsibility of this role is to maintain precise coding within systems such as eBuilder and Oracle Fusion, while also supporting the Construction Warehouse team from a financial standpoint.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Construction Estimator:
- Process and review invoices, check demands, and revisions to budgetary arrangements.
- Administer the tracking and coordination of bond and escrow petitions, endorsements, and reimbursements.
- Facilitate the process of requesting purchases through a different party.
- Assist the Construction Warehouse team with financial aid for purchase order processing, expense claim submissions, and inventory counting tasks.
- Draft financial summaries for analysts, directors, and VPs that include detailed accrual reports.
- Provide support for reclassification submissions and financial research investigations.
Qualifications and Experience of Construction Estimator:
- A background in accounting, business, or a similar field is required at the associate’s degree level, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates must have at least 24 months of relevant experience, with a preference for those who have 5 years or more of experience.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is a key requirement; proficiency in Smartsheet is a valuable asset.
- Leveraging online financial tools such as eBuilder and Oracle Fusion has enriched my experience with digital financial platforms.
- Skilled in analysis, communication, and building relationships with others.
