Principal Accountabilities:

• Take direct ownership of the daily activities within the shipping department, overseeing the preparation and loading of finished goods.
• Implement necessary adjustments to shipping processes and equipment to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide regular support and guidance to other shipping team members, ensuring smooth operations.
• Operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and organize finished products and shipping supplies.
• Accurately process shipping transactions within the plant's warehouse management system, potentially utilizing SAP.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on shipping equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Actively participate in training initiatives and effectively communicate information related to shipping procedures and requirements.
• Ensure all daily shipping tasks are completed accurately and maintain a consistently audit-ready state within the shipping area.
• Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
• Perform other shipping-related duties as assigned to support overall logistics.

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted right to work in the United States (not requiring sponsorship).
• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in this production-related environment at Cargill.
• Proficient in understanding and communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and system navigation.
• Physical capability to perform job duties such as bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions, including potential exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise, while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Comfortable working in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Demonstrated ability to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment relevant to shipping.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, and different shifts, with prior notification.
• Minimum of 6 months of practical experience in a production or shipping-related role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a shipping context.
• Familiarity with SAP or other automated warehouse management and plant control systems.
• Possession of a high school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience of at least one year.
