Cosmetics Cashier

Job Summary:

As a Cosmetics Cashier at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include managing transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting with cart management. This role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude.
• Stand for long periods while checking out customers quickly and accurately.
• Keep your area clean and presentable.
• Answer customer questions and help them with their needs.
• Be available to assist associates across the store as needed.
• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression.
• Gather carts from the parking lot.
• Operate equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store.
• Clean restrooms, salesfloor, and parking lot as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude in all weather conditions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Experience with handheld devices and basic math skills.

• Competitive pay with an hourly wage range of $15.00 to $23.00.
• Additional compensation includes aual or quarterly performance incentives.
